Cotswoldetours was created by Ian Hunter when he recognised weekend bike riders, especially those living in urban areas had few opportunities to get out into the countryside. And when they do, they stick to the tried and tested or busy popular routes. Acknowledging that most were also unlikely to have ridden an electric mountain bike he saw an opportunity to offer guided, off-road ebike tours that cater for people looking to add a little adventure into their day.

 

The Cotswolds are a jewel in the British landscape, offering dramatic scenery, a wide variety of trails, and extensive views in a beautiful location.

 

Ian has ridden for many years both within and beyond the UK. Exploring the Alps, the Atlas Mountains and testing himself on the usual long distance challenges in the UK (South Downs Way, King Alfred Way etc.) As long as the weather allows, he is out riding regularly every week – putting thousands of off-road miles on his bike every year.
